ABOUT US

Stone Creek Bible Church is an independent, Bible-believing, Baptist Church. Our services are traditional and welcoming! We're just real people who love each other and Jesus.

Pastor Richard Hammond was led of the Lord to start Stone Creek Bible Church (formerly Bethany Baptist Church) in August of 1994 in Dillon, Montana. Pastor Hammond and his wife, Jana, served the Lord faithfully in Dillon for 28 years before his retirement in September of 2022.

On October 9, 2022, the church called Trent Filer to be the next pastor.

We are excited about what God is doing at Stone Creek and invite you to join us as we serve the Lord here in Dillon!

FIRST TIME VISIT?

Visiting any church for the first time can be intimidating.  Our desire is to put your mind at ease.   At Stone Creek, we hope that your visit is refreshing and enjoyable.  We want you to experience inspiring music, Biblical preaching, friendly faces, and a place that you can call home.  Below are a few answers to some questions you may have and what you can expect in your first visit.

What time are your services?

Sunday

Sunday school             10:00 am

Worship Service          11:00 am

Wednesday

Bible Study & Prayer     7:00 pm

Where is the church located?

We are located at 55 Taylor Drive in Dillon, Montana just off of Highway 41. From Dillon, go north on 41 and turn left at Anderson Fencing.

What can I expect when I arrive?

We have plenty of parking in our lot.  You will see a double door entry in the front of our building. As you enter there is a foyer which leads to our sanctuary. Adults and children meet together in the sanctuary during worship times. Our services include congregational singing and special music from individuals and group ensembles followed by a helpful and challenging message from God's Word. A great way to get to know us here at Stone Creek is to attend our Sunday school classes (for adults and children) at 10:00 AM each Sunday morning. These classes are in a smaller setting where you can receive a practical Bible lesson that is applicable to you.

What about my kids?

A safe, clean, and staffed nursery is available for children 3 years old and under for all services. Your children are also invited to attend Sunday school (10:00 AM) to learn age-appropriate lessons from the Bible. We do not currently have a youth group. Teens will join the adult class in the sanctuary during all classes/services.

Am I expected to give an offering?

No.  We want our service to be a gift to you. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest. We hope, instead, that you will feel a warm welcome, learn truths from God's Word, and find a place where you can grow in God's grace. We do not pass offering plates, instead we have an offering box in the back of the sanctuary for those who do wish to give towards the ministries of the church.

What should I wear?

You will see a variety of clothing worn in our services including jeans and western style clothing, traditional Sunday attire, and more.

Any other questions?

If there is something we've missed on this list, feel free to ask when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Stone Creek Bible Church will be refreshing! We hope to meet you this Sunday!
